Snow day.

We had a snow day recently, well we drove through a snow day. We passed through the winter storm a few weeks back headed to LA and found all this beautiful snow at the Civil War park in Vicksburg, MS. There was about 6 inches of it, enough to do all this fun stuff...

Jumperoo fun.

Raegan has finally mastered the jumperoo. She took some good lessons from Ellie (on our trip to Shreveport) and Luke and the boys (at school). She can jump and spin and reach that little orange birdie to her heart's content now.

Other new things accomplished in February: belly laughs (see above), eating puffs and yogurt melts, and Riverdance (ask Drew)!

February is hot hot hot.

Well, Raegan is sprouting up a bit quicker than I anticipated and I'm afraid this won't still fit when summer finally gets here, so...we had a little dress-up party. Her first swimsuit, cute red bow and all.

She has another suit (purple!) in a larger size so we'll just wait and see what happens. At least she's growing up more than out so this oine may get to see a pool trip or two later.

funny funny funny...

Raegan loves EVERYBODY, but on this day Pops was king of the giggles. Big belly laughs and tickley toes. The whiskers might have something to do with it. ;)

5 months

Miss Raegan has heralded in 5 months with double! ear infections, complete with 102 fever and general grumpiness. A quick trip in to the doc and some good medicines later and she's back to her usual happy, smiley self.

New to her list of funnies is growling and "ranting" as her daddy puts it: minutes upon minutes of her yelling and talking to one of us or the dogs, or even a video on the laptop.

Also for 5 months we're experimenting with the Ferber Method to get her to soothe herself back to sleep and (hopefully) sleep better throughout the night. We've had some small battles won but we're still working on the war. While I'm typing this she's actually had her best night to date...and there I've probably just jinxed it but I had to brag a little.
