New to her list of funnies is growling and "ranting" as her daddy puts it: minutes upon minutes of her yelling and talking to one of us or the dogs, or even a video on the laptop.
Also for 5 months we're experimenting with the Ferber Method to get her to soothe herself back to sleep and (hopefully) sleep better throughout the night. We've had some small battles won but we're still working on the war. While I'm typing this she's actually had her best night to date...and there I've probably just jinxed it but I had to brag a little.

that pic with the elephant is adorable! And it was about 5 months that we went with the Ferber philosophy. It takes a bit but we really had no problem getting Sam to take to it. You'll be glad you did it when you talk to parents of kids who are much older who DIDN'T do it...
